[Houston TX] This band sounded good
from the sidewalk and then I got up to the second floor of the clothing store
and it was a very suspicious scene. Three guys and one hot blonde doing what
kind of sounded like pop punk but with a bunch of kids playing/dancing in
front. They were pretty good and I asked who they were (b/c it was that small
of a setting) and the woman practically screamed their name at me, and told me
how many awards they have won. So they’re a children’s rock band. And she’s a
mother of three – she looked like a 22 year old. I admit they were good – in a
sunny punk pop way I don’t really like – but I was appalled I thought they were
