[Colorado] We saw the end of her set – 1 ½ songs. She was on rhythm guitar and accompanied by a man on a baby blue electric bass. Her last song was so painfully grateful and innocent – a love song to life, parents, her pen and paper for “midwifing” this song for her – Rockboy had to leave. It was a borderline spiritual. Jewel is completely depraved by comparison. I was unmoved but sympathetic because I used to be that girl – when I was 12. Unfair to judge on the basis of two songs… even though I just did…
