[Austin] The chair I was there to see – I mean,
the band I was there to see. They put on a really good show last year and stood
out among a long set of sound-same punk bands. The lead singer was
extravagantly wasted glam punk – he’s possibly cleaned up but still put on a
show – literally hanging from rafters. I probably knew this before at some
point but upon looking this band up Nick Curran was a part of it – the Austin
musician who died of cancer.
