They were billed as bluegrass but were not – they were more country folk or
Americana. It’s bizarre to me that the term “bluegrass” is used as a positive
marketing tool in areas like this – I’d be thousand times more likely to go if
the band was not billed as bluegrass. They were good – pleasant – mildly rowdy.
All of the band members had identical bodies – mid-height, stocky, Carhart
pants. Two or three guitars, a mandolin, and drums.
