[Portland OR] SweetRambler was at the show for this band, his
friends—but did a nice job of not over-selling them. They were terrific.
Sincerely weird. Sardonic sarcastic lyrics. They traveled from Cracker
psych-country to super groovy disco country, a la the amazing Bright Light Social
Hour. The lead vocalist’s voice was mesmerizingly comforting to me – I don’t
know why. Something about their style said they weren’t from Portland
originally.
