was disappointed to see that they were the opening band & the band I ‘had
come to see’ wouldn’t be on until much later because I’d already seen them
& they’re a cover band – the less drug wasted looking guy apparently owns
this admittedly interesting venue (former bordello, group of real black guys
there amidst the hippie/frat boys) – most uncomfortable, the lovely youngish singer
appears to be dating the other guy in the band who looks to be even more of a
‘professional’ than Mick Jagger – they’re just a lesson on the downside to rock
