[Seattle] A more chaotic Portishead. Tricky. Massive Attack. I like this band’s trip-hop influences, a lot actually, but they come short of those influences. The most enthusiastic audience members (hair swinger, lyric knower) end up knowing each other of course. Emo's was my favorite punk, metal, anything-hard venue in Austin. Live Nation is controversially building a giant personality-void venue in Portland. Emo's is Live Nation now too. The world’s a hard place.
